Oh dear! I promised not to leave it too long on my last blog and now it’s been 4 months. Oops! Lets look at it positively though; 1) I have been super busy which is a yay from my camp, 2) you haven’t had lots of unwanted emails drop into your inbox.

So….what’s been going on?

Apart from signing up for a number of shows/fairs, I have moved forward into creating lampshades with different linings. Most of them have been gold and bronze mirror, however there will be more to come, silver, neon perhaps, brushed copper lining and more. The feedback so far has been really positive and this has reflected in the sales I am making. I guess you could mark that as a success 🙂

In less than 2 weeks time I will be exhibiting for the 2nd year running at Birmingham Open Studios. Based over 2 weekends, 5th/6th and 12th/13th October, it gives artists the opportunity to showcase their products to the public from their own homes or a location with other artists without having to pay hefty commissions. With 67 artists in 33 locations, this is the biggest yet and a great day out for the family. It’s free and if you don’t want to buy anything, that’s fine. Come along and say hi!
